Connect is for post-GCSE 16 year olds to 25 year olds and we meet on a Friday evening once a fortnight from 7.00pm. It's a really relaxed time with a mixture of ages in the group, from all different backgrounds and experiences. It's a good place to meet with friends. During the darker evenings we share a meal together and socialise before spending a little time discussing a topic. There's no pressure on anyone to contribute if they don't want to, and our discussions usually involve a lot of laughter! In the lighter evenings we try and get out and do different activities like BBQ's, bowling, games and sports or even fish and chips on the local beach.
